How to personalise new medicines with ML

We are witnessing a rapid evolution of healthcare ecosystem boosted by new technologies to quantify health. This race to deliver better medicines faster is partially accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Simultaneously, personalised and precision medicine are becoming a must for better care. In this talk I’ll give an overview and dive deeper into a couple of examples on how ML is helping us tailoring drug development via recommended patient characteristics and subgroups. Finally, I’ll share challenges and opportunities when working with health data and ML/AI applications in this exciting field.
